ABOUT AMGEN
What you will do
- Design and build scalable web applications with rich, responsive front-end interfaces using frameworks like React, .NET Angular, or Vue
- Develop robust and secure back-end services and APIs using Node.js, Python, or similar server-side technologies
- Architect and manage data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and storage using tools like Apache Airflow, Spark, Kafka, or dbt
- Work with structured and unstructured data in SQL and NoSQL databases
- Design and implement ETL/ELT workflows, data warehousing solutions, and ensure data quality, integrity, and lineage
- Integrate AI dataset into products and services as part of agentic workflows collaborating with Data Scientists/UI Engineers or leveraging APIs like OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.
- Develop intelligent features like recommendation engines, smart assistants, code generation, or predictive analytics
- Apply AI-enhanced developer tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, AI test generation, automated code review tools) to boost productivity and quality
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for deploying full-stack and data solutions in cloud-native environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Ensure system reliability, observability, and performance through proper monitoring and logging
- Follow and advocate for clean code, modular design, and best practices in both software and data engineering
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (product, design, data science, QA) to deliver impactful features
- Continuously explore and apply emerging AI and data technologies to accelerate development and improve user experience
What we expect of you
- Doctorate Degree OR
- Master’s degree with 4 - 6 years of experience in Computer Science, IT or related field OR
- Bachelor’s degree with 6 - 8 years of experience in Computer Science, IT or related field OR
- Diploma with 10 - 12 years of experience in Computer Science, IT or related field
Must-Have Skills
- Knowledge of component-based architecture and reusable UI patterns
- Experience with ASP.NET MVC / .NET Core for building and integrating UI components
- Hands-on experience with big data technologies and platforms, such as Databricks, Apache Spark (PySpark, SparkSQL), workflow orchestration, performance tuning on big data processing
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (eg. SQL) and experience with data visualization tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work with large, complex datasets
- Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, tools, and best practices
- Knowledge of data protection regulations and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
