What you will do

  • Design and architect ServiceNow solutions, including system architecture, out-of-the-box (OOB) and custom applications, data models, integrations, workflows, and automation
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring alignment to best practices and standards
  • Configure and customize ServiceNow platform components, such as Service Catalog, Incident Management, Change Management, Performance Analytics, Virtual Agent, and CMDB Discovery
  • Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems, demonstrating APIs, web services, middleware, and scripting languages
  • Write scripts to enable advanced functionality and resolve issues
  • Perform application testing of new and existing products
  • Supervise technical elements of system version upgrades, ensuring alignment with the latest ServiceNow release
  • Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize ServiceNow configurations for enhanced system responsiveness, scalability, and reliability
  • Ensure ServiceNow implementations align with regulatory requirements and internal governance policies including data security, privacy, and audit standards
  • Create comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, architecture diagrams, and user guides
  • Conduct training sessions for key partners and end-users as needed
  • Stay ahead of with ServiceNow platform advancements, best practices, and emerging trends to drive innovation
  • Proactively find opportunities for process improvements and innovation within the ServiceNow ecosystem
  • Perform assessments and evaluations of existing ServiceNow implementations, offering recommendations for improvements
  • Ensure the security, scalability, and maintainability of ServiceNow solutions
  • Develop custom applications to automate business processes, including complex workflows and user interfaces
  • Follow agile software development methods to design, build, implement, and adjust projects in rapid, iterative cycles

What we expect of you

  • Doctorate degree and 2 years of ServiceNow experience OR Master’s degree and 8 to 10 years of ServiceNow experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 10 to 14 years of ServiceNow experience OR Diploma and 14 to 18 years of ServiceNow experience
  • Validated experience as a ServiceNow Technical Architect or Senior Developer, with deep understanding of platform architecture, components, and capabilities
  • Extensive experience developing and implementing ServiceNow solutions, including custom applications, modules, and integrations
  • Solid understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow scripting languages, as well as experience with custom integrations using REST/SOAP, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and API scripts
  • Experience with ITSM processes (Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management) and familiarity with ITIL framework
  • Experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry (preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow applications such as ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, IRM, SecOps, SPM, and CSM (preferred)
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools, such as Scrum and Jira (preferred)
  • Validated ability to identify performance bottlenecks and optimize ServiceNow configurations for scalability and reliability (preferred)
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) (mandatory)
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) (mandatory)
