What you will do

  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, servers, databases and applications to ensure their reliability and performance. For 3rd party hosted applications, work with vendor support to ensure the same.
  • Monitor integrations, system performance and uptime, addressing any issues that arise promptly to prevent service interruptions.
  • Implement and maintain security measures to protect systems from unauthorized access, vulnerabilities, and other threats.
  • Manage backup procedures and ensure data is securely backed up and recoverable in case of system failures.
  • Provide advanced technical support to users and the product team, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to system access, performance, and software.
  • Apply operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes as necessary or work with related vendors to ensure system releases are tested and working as expected.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and change management.
  • Work closely with network administrators, database administrators, and other IT professionals to ensure that systems are integrated and functioning optimally.
  • Enforce and follow standard GxP Process (21 CFR Part 11) defined by the organization which ensures that product quality, data integrity and patient safety are managed.
  • Support Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery CI/CD pipelines.

What we expect of you

  • Bachelor's / Master’s degree with 8-13 years of experience in Computer Science, IT or related field.

Must-Have Skills

  • Strong knowledge of information systems and network technologies in the Human Resources – Learning & Development area.
  • Programming languages, including C#, Java Script, or VBA.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools, including GitLab, DevOps.
  • Experience with validated GxP systems per FDA 21 CFR Part 11, pharma or other regulated industry, and related tools such as ALM, Veeva Vault Controlled Documents.
  • Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
  • Experience with scripting and test automation tools.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with global, virtual teams.
  • High degree of initiative and self-motivation.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities successfully.
  • Team-oriented, with a focus on achieving team goals.
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Good understanding of software development methodologies, such as SDLC, Agile, and/or Scrum, software quality management, and organizational change processes.
  • Good understanding of cloud technologies such as AWS.
