What you will do
- Designing, developing, and maintaining software applications and solutions that meet business needs
- Ensuring the availability and performance of critical systems and applications
- Working closely with product managers, designers, data engineers, and other engineers to create high-quality, scalable software solutions
- Automating operations, monitoring system health, and responding to incidents to minimize downtime
- Contributing to a regulatory submission content automation initiative using innovative technologies including Generative AI, Structured Content Management, and integrated data
- Possessing strong rapid prototyping skills and quickly translating concepts into working code
- Contributing to both front-end and back-end development using cloud technology
- Developing innovative solutions using generative AI technologies
- Ensuring code quality and consistency to standard methodologies
- Creating and maintaining documentation on software architecture, design, deployment, disaster recovery, and operations
- Identifying and resolving technical challenges effectively
- Staying updated with the latest trends and advancements
- Working closely with product team, business team, and other collaborators
- Designing, developing, and implementing applications and modules, including custom reports, interfaces, and enhancements
- Analyzing and understanding the functional and technical requirements of applications, solutions and systems and translating them into software architecture and design specifications
- Developing and implementing unit tests, integration tests, and other testing strategies to ensure the quality of the software
- Identifying and resolving software bugs and performance issues
- Working closely with multi-functional teams, including product management, design, and QA, to deliver high-quality software on time
- Customizing modules to meet specific business requirements
- Working on integrating with other systems and platforms to ensure seamless data flow and functionality
- Providing ongoing support and maintenance for applications, ensuring that they operate smoothly and efficiently
What we expect of you
- Bachelor’s degree and 5 to 8 years of experience in Computer Science, IT or related field
Must-Have Skills
- Proficiency in Python/PySpark development, Fast API, Databricks, DevOps Tools, CI/CD, Data Ingestion
- Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with popular front-end frameworks like React (preferred) or Angular
- In-depth knowledge of data engineering concepts, ETL processes, and data architecture principles
- Solid understanding of cloud computing principles, particularly within the AWS ecosystem
