What you will do
- Lead and perform analysis to provide relevant data mappings to the MDM/ref team
- Work closely with business teams to understand requirements of the platform or data products and enable engineering team to develop it
- Bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions by analyzing, documenting, and managing reference and master data
- Analyze data requirements, document data lineage, and create mappings for reference and master data
- Understand and create stories for data accuracy, completeness, and consistency through data quality assessments, cleansing, and validation processes
- Understand how reference and master data are used in various business processes and identify areas for improvement
- Work with technical teams to understand and document the streams of reference and master data to and from various systems and applications
- Effectively communicate data requirements and solutions to both business and technical stakeholders
- Provide training and support to users on reference and master data management processes and systems
- Work with business stakeholders to understand data needs and find opportunities to enable them on the platform
- Promote/adoption: Ensure availability of MDM/ref is communicated and all project milestones showcased in different forums
What we expect of you
- Master’s degree and 7 to 10 years of Information Systems experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 8 to 10 years of Information Systems experience OR Diploma and 10 to 12 years of Information Systems experience
- 5-7 years of experience in a product analyst role for MDM/ref data
- Experience of working closely with technical team of MDM, ref data
- Experience in promoting the adoption and communicating the milestones
- Know to write user stories for MDM and ref data work
Must-Have Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with data quality tools and techniques
- Familiarity with data management systems and technologies
- Ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams
- Familiarity with MDM (Master Data Management) and RDM (Reference Data Management) concepts
- Strong skills in Excel
- Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/SAFe)
- Knows SQL
- Familiarity with data technologies, and different tools of MDM and ref data tools
- Ability to work effectively across matrixed organizations and lead collaboration between data and AI teams
- Passion for technology and customer success, particularly in driving innovative AI and data solutions
- Excellent analytical and solving skills
