RESUME AND JOB
Analog Devices
Imagine launching your career at the intersection of innovation and manufacturing excellence. Analog Devices, a global leader in semiconductor technology, invites fresh graduates and early-career professionals to join as Associate Planner, Production Planning at our state-of-the-art facility in Cavite, Philippines. This graduate-level position offers the perfect entry point into the dynamic world of high-tech manufacturing, where you'll play a pivotal role in optimizing production processes that power everything from autonomous vehicles to digital healthcare solutions.
With over 55 years of breakthrough innovation, Analog Devices bridges the physical and digital worlds, enabling advancements at the Intelligent Edge. Our Cavite Technology Center (GTC) stands as a cornerstone of our Asia-Pacific operations, combining world-class manufacturing with cutting-edge R&D. As an Associate Planner, you'll be at the heart of our supply chain orchestra, ensuring seamless production flow that keeps our global customers ahead of what's possible.
This role demands precision, foresight, and collaboration—qualities that define success in our high-volume semiconductor environment. You'll generate load plans that maximize OEE, monitor critical inventories, and coordinate across multiple departments to meet aggressive customer commitments. It's more than planning; it's about creating predictable excellence in an unpredictable world.
Cavite's strategic location just south of Manila positions our GTC as a hub of technological advancement, surrounded by a thriving ecosystem of suppliers and talent. Join a team that's not just building chips, but building the future of connectivity, mobility, and sustainability.
Your day begins at 7:00 AM with the Daily Cell Huddle—a high-energy 15-minute stand-up where production teams align on priorities. As the planning voice, you present yesterday's loading plan results, highlight capacity constraints, and flag any hot lots or line-down risks. This sets the tone for proactive problem-solving.
By 8:00 AM, you're diving into capacity validation. Comparing declared machine hours against actual performance, you identify variances and escalate bottlenecks to Industrial Engineering. Next, you craft today's load plan, balancing die availability, tooling constraints, and customer pull-ins to optimize OEE across multiple product lines.
Mid-morning brings die inventory reconciliation. You pull real-time data from our MES system, tracking WIP levels, in-transit dice, and unloaded inventory. Any WIP surges or bubbles trigger immediate analysis—will this delay critical shipments? You communicate findings to Operations leadership with clear action recommendations.
Lunch at 12:00 PM offers a chance to network with cross-functional peers. Post-lunch, you review the weekly commit, stress-testing it against upside volumes and expedites. Coordination calls with Purchasing, Engineering, and Customer Service resolve material shortages or spec changes.
Afternoon hours focus on look-ahead planning. Analyzing two weeks of incoming inventory, you predict potential line starvation or overloads. Daily output monitoring for critical products ensures we're on track for OTD targets. Before 5:00 PM wrap-up, you update planning profiles and prepare tomorrow's huddle report.
This rhythm of analysis, communication, and execution builds your expertise daily, surrounded by mentors who embody ADI's commitment to employee growth.
