Job Description

Sr. Analyst, Information Security Careers at Analog Devices in Wilmington, Massachusetts

Overview

Analog Devices stands at the forefront of semiconductor innovation, bridging the physical and digital worlds to power breakthroughs at the Intelligent Edge. With over $9 billion in FY24 revenue and 24,000 employees worldwide, we're shaping the future of digitized factories, mobility, digital healthcare, climate solutions, and seamless connectivity. In Wilmington, Massachusetts, our Sr. Analyst, Information Security role within the Cybersecurity team is pivotal in safeguarding our most sensitive assets—especially manufacturing data governed by stringent regulations like ITAR, EAR, DFARS 252.204-7012, and CUI requirements.

This P3-level position demands expertise in data governance, security platforms like Varonis and Microsoft Purview, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA). You'll protect unstructured data across enterprise repositories, from NAS and SharePoint to cloud storage and development tools like GitHub and Bitbucket. Partnering with IT, Legal, and Data Governance teams, you'll drive our Data Security program's maturity, ensuring visibility, control, and compliance in a high-stakes, regulated environment. If you thrive on optimizing tools for insider risk detection, remediating permissions, and enforcing least-privilege access, join us to stay Ahead of What's Possible™.

A Day in the Life

Imagine starting your day in Wilmington, Massachusetts, at Analog Devices' state-of-the-art facility. You dive into Varonis dashboards, reviewing overnight file activity alerts for anomalous access patterns in engineering design repositories. A quick risk assessment on a shared OneDrive folder reveals over-permissioned access to ITAR-controlled manufacturing docs—you remediate it instantly, enforcing RBAC via collaboration with the Identity Governance team.

Mid-morning, you onboard a new NAS data source into Varonis, coordinating with networking and business units. Lunchtime sparks a cross-team huddle on refining Microsoft Purview auto-classification rules for export-controlled IP. Post-lunch, you're tuning DLP policies to curb USB exfiltration risks in production environments, analyzing logs to slash false positives. An exception request hits ServiceNow for a supplier data share—you assess risks, loop in export controls, and approve with safeguards.

Afternoon brings Zero Trust enhancements: implementing conditional access for OT/IT segmentation. You build a Power BI report on data exposure trends for executive review, then investigate a Purview insider risk alert, escalating if needed. Wrapping up, you document SOPs and plan tomorrow's database scanning expansion. This dynamic role blends hands-on tech mastery with strategic compliance in Wilmington's vibrant tech hub.
