The Analyst I, Falcon Complete role at CrowdStrike offers a dynamic opportunity in our virtual security operations center (vSOC) in St. Louis, MO. This hybrid position is perfect for highly motivated, self-driven technical analysts eager to make a real impact in global security. You'll detect and respond to incidents in real-time, protecting organizations from advanced attackers like Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs), organized crime, and hacktivists. Leveraging the Falcon platform, you'll handle incidents across diverse environments, accelerate your skills, and contribute to thought leadership in the industry. This entry-level analyst role is ideal for those with incident response or infosec backgrounds ready to level up in a fast-paced, innovative setting.
In this role, you'll dive hands-on into cybersecurity operations with the Falcon Complete team. Key responsibilities include exercising incident handling processes across Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms to detect, contain, and remediate threats swiftly. You'll perform basic malware analysis, both static and dynamic, to uncover malicious behaviors. Expect to develop and refine processes for incident detection and execute countermeasures effectively. Producing high-quality written and verbal communications, recommendations, and findings for customer management is crucial. Additionally, you'll demonstrate industry thought leadership through blog posts, CrowdCasts, and public speaking events, sharing insights from real-world incident response.
Every day brings variety: from triaging alerts on the Falcon platform to crafting remediation plans and collaborating with customers. Your work directly stops breaches, safeguarding critical infrastructure worldwide.
Successful candidates bring experience in incident handling, computer forensic analysis, systems administration, network forensic analysis, malware analysis, incident remediation, network operations, or programming/scripting in languages like Python, C#, or Perl. A strong understanding of system internals, network protocols, and secure architectures is essential. All candidates must be capable of independent technical tasks, possess strong project management skills, and foster a positive team environment.
