The Analyst I, Falcon Complete role at CrowdStrike offers a dynamic opportunity in our virtual security operations center (vSOC). Using the Falcon platform, you'll protect organizations from advanced attackers, including Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs), organized crime, and hacktivists. With a disclosed salary range of 90,000 - 135,000 CAD, plus competitive upside, this full-time role includes a 4x10 schedule with weekend shifts and hybrid flexibility where applicable.

Key Responsibilities

In this critical role, you'll dive deep into cybersecurity operations, leveraging the Falcon platform to safeguard customers worldwide. Key responsibilities include:

• Exercising incident handling processes across Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms to detect, contain, and remediate threats swiftly.
• Performing basic malware analysis, including static and dynamic techniques, to uncover malicious behaviors.
• Developing and improving processes for incident detection and executing countermeasures effectively.
• Producing high-quality written and verbal communications, recommendations, and findings for customer management.
• Demonstrating industry thought leadership through blog posts, CrowdCasts, and public speaking events.

These tasks ensure real-time protection and contribute to CrowdStrike's mission to stop breaches before they escalate.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed as an Analyst I, Falcon Complete, candidates should bring experience in at least one of the following areas:

• Incident Handling: Conducting or managing responses to targeted threats like APTs, organized crime, and hacktivists.
• Computer Forensic Analysis: Proficiency with forensic tools to scope compromises.
• Systems Administration: Deep understanding of system internals for remediation.
• Network Forensic Analysis: Expertise in protocols, tools, and log analysis.
• Malware Analysis: Static/dynamic analysis skills.
• Incident Remediation: Creating tactical/strategic plans for compromised environments.
• Network Operations/Architecture: Secure design and operations background.
• Programming/Scripting: Coding in Python, C, C#, Perl, Ruby, or similar.

All candidates must be capable of independent technical work, possess strong project management, and foster a positive team environment. A BA/BS or MA/MS in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related fields is preferred, though relevant experience substitutes.
