Key Responsibilities

• Conduct continuous monitoring and perform in-depth analysis of security alerts generated by the Falcon platform.
• Execute incident handling processes across Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms to swiftly address threats.
• Perform static and dynamic malware analysis to uncover malicious activities.
• Carry out remote remediation of malware and other malicious behaviors.
• Develop and refine processes for incident detection, triage, and countermeasures implementation.
• Deliver high-quality written and verbal communications, including recommendations and findings to customer management.
• Demonstrate thought leadership via blog posts, CrowdCasts, and public speaking.
• Contribute to advancing security processes and procedures within the team.

Qualifications & Requirements

CrowdStrike seeks candidates with proven expertise in key areas:

• Experience in Incident Handling, including response to Advanced Persistent Threats, organized crime, and hacktivists.
• Background in Computer Forensic Analysis using various tools to scope compromises.
• Systems Administration knowledge for effective countermeasures and remediation.
• Malware Analysis skills, both static and dynamic.
• Incident Remediation proficiency, crafting tactical and strategic plans against targeted attacks.
• Programming/Scripting in languages like PowerShell, Python, C, C#, Perl, or Ruby.
• At least one relevant security certification.
• Strong experience with Mac OS, Windows, and Unix/Linux operating systems.
• Excellent verbal communication, problem-solving, time management, and ability to thrive in high-pressure situations.
• BA/BS or MA/MS in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or equivalent experience.
