Key Responsibilities

In this full-time role, you'll be part of the Origin Operations Control Tower team, ensuring reliable cargo movement per SOPs and SLAs. Your daily impact includes:

• Tracking origin and ocean operations milestones related to cargo management, container trucking, and ocean carrier performance with factories and LSPs.
• Identifying delays, missing information, or process gaps and escalating exceptions for swift resolution.
• Coordinating recovery actions with factories, origin consolidators, ocean carriers, and internal Nike teams.
• Maintaining accurate, timely updates in Nike's iTMS, visibility platforms, and control tower dashboards.
• Supporting the creation of daily and weekly operational reports to inform decision-making.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education and Experience

A Bachelor’s degree is required, paired with 3-5 years of hands-on experience in origin cargo management, container trucking, and ocean origin operations. Expertise in Purchase Order (PO) management, factory booking, shipment planning, documentation, ocean capacity management, equipment availability, carrier forecasting, booking, and documentation is essential.

Technical and Soft Skills

Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and track-and-trace platforms is key. Strong data analytical skills for process control and reporting, combined with excellent communication abilities, will enable you to thrive.
