As an Analyst PPM PBOM in Chennai, you will play a pivotal role in Ford's Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) ecosystem. This position focuses on managing the Process Bill of Materials (PBOM) and Product Portfolio Management (PPM) processes, ensuring seamless integration of engineering changes across our automotive production lines. Key Responsibilities

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including design engineers, procurement, and manufacturing to implement changes accurately.
• Utilizing PLM tools like Teamcenter or SAP to validate BOM data integrity and generate compliance reports.
• Monitoring material usage variances and recommending optimizations to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Supporting audits and ensuring adherence to industry standards such as IATF 16949.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience

A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Management is required. 2-5 years of hands-on experience in BOM management, engineering changes, or PLM within the automotive or manufacturing industry is essential. Familiarity with Ford's global processes is a plus.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in ERP/PLM systems (SAP, Teamcenter, Windchill), advanced Excel for data analysis, and knowledge of automotive BOM structures (eBOM, mBOM, PBOM). Strong understanding of GD&T and manufacturing processes.
