As an Analyst PPM PBOM in Chennai, you will play a pivotal role in Ford's Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) ecosystem. This position focuses on managing the Process Bill of Materials (PBOM) and Product Portfolio Management (PPM) processes, ensuring seamless integration of engineering changes across our automotive production lines. Reporting to the Engineering Change Manager, you will support Ford's commitment to precision, efficiency, and innovation in the competitive automotive sector. Ideal for detail-oriented professionals passionate about supply chain optimization and manufacturing excellence.
Your day-to-day impact will include:
A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Management is required. 2-5 years of hands-on experience in BOM management, engineering changes, or PLM within the automotive or manufacturing industry is essential. Familiarity with Ford's global processes is a plus.
Proficiency in ERP/PLM systems (SAP, Teamcenter, Windchill), advanced Excel for data analysis, and knowledge of automotive BOM structures (eBOM, mBOM, PBOM). Strong understanding of GD&T and manufacturing processes.
Excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail, and communication skills to liaise with global teams. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
