Role Overview

CrowdStrike is seeking highly motivated Analysts and Senior Analysts for our Falcon Complete team in Tokyo, Japan. This role is perfect for cybersecurity professionals dedicated to making a global impact by detecting and responding to advanced threats in real-time. Our virtual security operations center (vSOC) offers diverse experiences across incident detection, containment, and remediation. Both Japanese-speaking and non-Japanese-speaking candidates are encouraged to apply in our flexible language environment. Note: This is for upcoming headcount; express interest even if timing is dynamic. You must hold active work rights in Japan—no relocation support available. Shifts are daytime, 40-hour weeks: Mon-Fri, Wed-Sat, or Sun-Wed, with 4-day options for weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities

As an Analyst or Senior Analyst on the Falcon Complete team, you'll handle real-world incidents using the power of the Falcon platform. Core duties include:

• Exercising incident handling processes across Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms.
• Performing basic malware analysis to understand and neutralize threats.
• Developing and improving processes for incident detection and countermeasures.
• Producing high-quality written and verbal communications, recommendations, and findings for customer management.

Senior Analysts take it further:

• Demonstrating thought leadership via blog posts, CrowdCasts, and public speaking.
• Managing internal programs or teams.
• Mentoring and supporting junior analysts' development.

Qualifications & Requirements

Successful candidates bring experience in areas like SOC operations, malware analysis, or IR. Key expertise includes:

• Incident Handling: Conducting or managing responses to APTs, organized crime, or hacktivists.
• Computer Forensic Analysis: Using tools to scope compromises.
• Systems Administration: Deep understanding of internals for remediation.
• Network Forensic Analysis: Protocols, tools, and log analysis.
• Malware Analysis: Static/dynamic techniques.
• Incident Remediation: Custom tactical/strategic plans.
• Network Ops/Architecture: Secure designs and operations.
• Programming/Scripting: C, C#, Python, Perl, etc.
• Emerging Tech: AI/ML in cybersecurity.

Prior Falcon experience is a plus. All must have strong problem-solving skills, be self-motivated, and willing to work allocated shifts. Native or business-level Japanese is welcome but not required.
