Our team is looking for a hard-working, detail oriented, and motivated Advanced Technology EPM (Wireless) to drive Apple’s product development process from prototype to mass production. We value folks who take ownership and drive for product excellence while demonstrating great teamwork skills. This role is technical and uses an Electrical/Electronics/Wireless Engineering background to understand technical details & risks and project management skills to drive programs to completion. As an Advanced Technology EPM for Wireless, you’ll collaborate closely with wireless development teams early in the product lifecycle to implement, validate, and test wireless designs at both circuit board and system levels. You’ll drive project build plans, material preparation, and liaise with Apple and Contract Manufacturers for prototype build readiness & execution involving wireless tests, materials, and factory processes. You’ll collaborate on failure/root cause analysis, implementation and validation of corrective actions. You’ll also co-ordinate cross-functional teams’ factory requirements (labs, equipment, resources) to ensure they can contribute to the project’s overall success. Additionally, you’ll communicate wireless design, test, overall prototype build status, and relevant prototype build preparation details to technical and executive management.

Required Qualifications

  • B.Tech in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related field required (experience)
  • 4+ years of technical experience in wireless communications (experience, 4 years)
  • Wireless hardware design/architecture experience in Cellular, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, UWB, or NFC (experience)
  • 2+ years of project management experience in hardware development and integration of wireless technologies into products (experience, 2 years)
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, presentation and communication skills (experience)
  • Ability to filter and distill relevant information for the right audience, rapidly understand new situations & adapt to changes. (experience)
  • Self-motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking abilities (experience)
  • Flexibility to collaborate with global teams spread across multiple timezones (experience)
  • Ability to travel - domestic & international (up to 35%) (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • M.Tech in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related field (experience)
  • Work experience demonstrating collaboration with global teams with some tenure abroad (experience)
  • Degree or prior experience in Electrical, Mechatronics or related field that demonstrates combined experience / knowledge across mechanical, electrical and software aspects of building a product (experience)
  • Prior experience working with Operations to ensure smooth transition from development to mass production (experience)
  • Prior experience working on hardware development with Contract Manufacturers (experience)
