The Apple Knowledge & Information (AKI) Entity Resolution team is looking for senior and staff engineers to lead software projects suffusing knowledge of the user throughout Apple’s products. Building this system requires deep expertise in a myriad of cutting edge fields: search, natural language understanding, data engineering, machine learning, privacy preserving system design, and more. You will be a hands on, technical leader as your team partners with a variety of subject matter experts to design, build, and integrate their components into a seamless platform for creating personalized Siri experiences that surprise and delight.

Required Qualifications
- 8 years of professional software experience (experience, 8 years)
- BS in computer science or related fields (experience)
- Experience leading software engineering teams and / or projects (experience)
- Experience designing and shipping novel systems architectures (experience)
- Passion for great products (experience)
- Exceptional software engineering skills (experience)
- Ability to identify similar software solutions and generalize them into libraries / frameworks / platforms (experience)
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment (experience)
- Ability and desire to lead a small teams of high impact engineers (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years professional experience developing for Apple’s platforms (experience, 5 years)
- Experience building voice computing systems or subsystems (e.g. ASR, NL, TTS, Voice Assistants, etc) (experience)
- Swift or Objective-C experience preferred (Rust, C++, or similar also acceptable) (experience)
- Experience building machine learning based systems (experience)
- Mobile and / or embedded development experience (experience)
