We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Business Manager to further grow our TV business in Mexico and Spanish-speaking Latin America. In this role, you will work as a part of TV business, the team driving business engagements and partnerships between Apple and external partners to grow first party paid video subscription and revenue. The position involves managing strategic projects to successfully execute the growth plan. You will collaborate closely with cross functional teams throughout Apple and our third party partners to implement programs that achieve business objectives. The role requires a highly-motivated and adaptive self-stater with a deep understanding of the digital video and streaming space excited to work with multiple internal and external teams. To be successful, candidates should be customer-focused, highly analytical, team-minded, thrive in ambiguous environments, and love TV and entertainment. Strategy Development: Help define and evolve the strategy of our TV business in close collaboration with the local & global leadership teams. Influence the prospect acquisition strategy, and identify key customer segments for growth across partnerships, marketing and in app channels. Performance Tracking: Monitor weekly business performance vs. forecast and manage cross-functional communications on performance. Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with Business, Analytics, Editorial and Marketing teams to ensure seamless campaign execution and integration with the overall customer lifecycle strategy. Competitive intelligence: work to stay current on viewership-driving tactics employed by other services in the space Develop Growth Initiatives: Partner with Business, Strategic Planning, Editorial, Analytics and Marketing to influence and manage strategic growth initiatives. Project Management: Outstanding ability to understand project management, dependencies, and influencing partners to drive business results. Partnership Management: Build, maintain and expand business relationships with partners across and outside of the video landscape, including studios, carriers, MVPDs, or any potential partner that can support the distribution and growth of Apple TV+. Reporting and Business Optimization: Present analyses and recommendations to senior executives.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in an analytical role, ideally for a subscription business, with clear evidence and track record of drawing business insights and recommendations from detailed analysis of content presentation. (experience, 7 years)
  • Solid understanding of the video entertainment industry (specifically streaming), as well as key trends, players and growth drivers. (experience)
  • Strong project management capability with exceptional attention to detail. (experience)
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish. (experience)

  • Strong analytical and creative problem solver who is data-driven, flexible, able to change directions quickly, and understands the nature of a fast-evolving, high-profile business. (experience)
  • Direct experience managing large scale projects and programs growing subscription business. (experience)

  • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills; ability to articulate a strong point of view clearly and succinctly to both senior executives and individual contributors. (experience)
