Marcom LA is Apple’s Global Marketing Communications group creating and overseeing the world-class marketing and advertising driving Apple's rapidly-growing Services sector including Apple TV, Apple Sports, Apple Music, App Store, Apple Pay, Apple Arcade, Apple News, Apple Books, Apple Podcasts, Apple Maps, iCloud and more. Whether we’re launching the Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show, introducing Messi to MLS, finding the next generation of games in the App Store, or celebrating the seamless joy of using Apple Pay, Marcom LA’s mission is to build brand love for Apple every day. We do that with inspiring creative, a culture-first mindset, and the belief our Services make our incredible Apple devices even better. We are looking for an Associate Creative Director to join our Marcom LA team. In this role you will collaborate with a group of strategists, brand managers, project managers, producers, as well as cross-functional and external partners. We work to create and craft integrated campaigns for Apple Music, Apple Podcasts and more. With a focus on Brand communications and culturally relevant ideas, the ACD Copywriter will be a steward for Apple Music and Apple Podcasts, and the creative developed by Marcom. Lead creative efforts and campaigns for Apple Music and Apple Podcasts as part of a dynamic creative team. Working across subject areas, you will integrate strategies and messaging for brand campaigns, digital performance efforts, social and owned channels, and new mediums of communication. You will also guide other creatives to do their best work and to support each other's strengths. Responsibilities include: - Ideate, collaborate, and write for conceptual development and creative execution - Craft, review, and empower campaigns across brands and products for Music and Podcasts - Present work to senior creative staff, product marketing managers, and Apple executives, articulating concepts with energy and enthusiasm - Collaborate with the ACD/Art Director to concept ideas and co-direct teams to produce quality creative - Work with project managers and creative directors to ensure that schedules are accurate and realistic, and that deadlines are met

Required Qualifications

  • 9+ years working experience in a creative, advertising, and/or design environment. (experience, 9 years)
  • Provide a portfolio of work demonstrating integrated campaigns in mediums including film advertising, social media, photography, design, and performance marketing. (experience)
  • Experience with conceptual writing across advertising and earned media efforts, with social-first thinking. (experience)
  • Have made highly crafted work demonstrating concepting, creative directing and producing major marketing, communication, or advertising campaigns. (experience)

  • Passionate about exceptional writing and creative that is thoughtful, meaningful, and at times, provocative. (experience)
