Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10+ years in Marketing Communications role(s) (experience, 10 years)
  • Demonstrated expertise in traditional, digital, social and experiential marketing. (experience)
  • Deep understanding of culture, entertainment and music industry. (experience)
  • Proven skills in core areas: business and brand strategy, creative strategy, creative ideation and, communications planning. (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Structured thinker; translating complex ideas into actionable models, systems, and communications. (experience)
  • Strong ability to think both creatively and analytically. (experience)
  • Ability to work effectively with teams to build cross-channel, cohesive, and connected marketing communications. (experience)
  • Excellent relationship management abilities/strong interpersonal communication skills. (experience)
  • Excellent organization skills, acute attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced and time sensitive environment. (experience)
  • Strong advisory, influence, and communication skills (written, verbal, presentation) and strong sense of professionalism. (experience)
  • Direct experience handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion. (experience)
  • Agency experience strongly preferred. (experience)

Responsibilities

  • As a Brand Marketing Manager on Apple Music, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing creative and innovative, integrated marketing strategies that reinforce Apple Music’s position as a global leader in music.
  • Develop and execute multi-faceted brand marketing strategies for Apple Music that deliver against our brand and growth goals —globally.
  • Independently lead mid-to-large scale projects and/or work-streams end-to-end, from insights to strategy development, to solutions articulation and executional oversight.
  • Champion creative solutions and collaborate with internal and external creative teams to ensure strategic alignment and inspire innovative campaigns.
  • Lead collaboration with cross-functional teams and work hand-in-hand with stakeholders to execute plans, briefing in the right teams, and acting as the DRI cross-functionally. Managing timelines and approvals.
  • Oversee relationship management and tactical business development responsibilities with agencies, and third party partners.
  • Use data and research to help inform marketing strategy, program strategy, and decisions.
