We are seeking a dedicated Computer Vision Research Engineer to join our team. The job will focus on developing deep learning models for 3D reconstruction and perception using state-of-the-art deep learning techniques. As a key member of our team, you'll be involved in the entire process of crafting and training these models whose derivatives will be deployed in various Apple products. Model Development: Design, implement, and optimize deep learning models for various tasks in the field of 3D vision Research: Contribute to the development of algorithms and models within the domain of 3D vision Implement and validate models using various data sets Investigate the application of unsupervised data and knowledge distillation techniques to improve the performance of machine learning models Conduct research to explore novel techniques and algorithms Stay updated with recent advancements in the field Design and apply various metrics to evaluate your work Data Analysis: Prepare, filter, process, and analyze large-scale datasets to train and evaluate models Analyze the results of your algorithm and compare with other leading methods Algorithm Optimization: Optimize models for real-time performance and resource efficiency Collaboration: Work in sync with interdisciplinary teams to integrate models into larger products or research studies Collaborate with international teams

  • Experience in working with large scale datasets (experience)
  • Experience with optimizing models in both size and runtime (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (degree in master)
  • Publications in top-tier computer vision conferences (CVPR, ICCV, ECCV) (experience)
  • Analytical and detail-oriented with a curiosity about problem-solving (experience)
  • Proficient in both written and verbal communication (experience)
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively (experience)
