Job Description

Our team is a diverse and nimble group that manages Apple’s corporate and retail workplaces and workplace services. We develop and manage Apple’s global real estate portfolio, lead all related capital construction projects, provide outstanding facilities and site services, develop and lead sustainability initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of all Apple facilities, including commute and renewable energy programs, and do everything we can to ensure the health and safety of all Apple personnel, facilities, and customers in our facilities around the world. The Critical Facilities Electrical team manages all electrical systems, critical infrastructure, and power generation across the Places portfolio. As a cross-functional team, we collaborate both within and beyond the Places organization to ensure operational excellence and reliability. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical lead handling our electrical and critical environment operations. This pivotal role requires a strong leader who can oversee electrical vendors, critical processes, and infrastructure while driving innovation and efficiency. The successful candidate will manage a diverse team of engineers and electricians, ensuring all maintenance and projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality. This role also involves developing and executing strategic initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance, and partnering closely with other departments to align with organizational goals. Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Electrical engineering technology or related field, or equivalent practical experience. (experience)
  • 7+ years of experience in facilities management within a critical environment. (experience, 7 years)
  • Strong knowledge of electrical design, operations, and quality assurance practices. (experience)
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools. (experience)
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions. (experience)
  • Familiarity with electrical safety regulations and industry standards. (experience)
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and presentation tools. (experience)
  • Strong knowledge of hyper-scale electrical and mechanical systems, as well as NFPA70e and OSHA laws specific to facilities and critical settings. (experience)
  • Must demonstrate a working knowledge of electrical, and life safety systems typically used in critical environments. (experience)
  • Knowledgeable in energy management systems. (experience)

  • Electrical journeyman license (experience)
