Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree of Computer Science or equivalent (degree in equivalent)
• 3+ years of proven experience in Development/DevOps/Infrastructure/IT area. (experience, 3 years)
• 2+ years of public cloud working experience. AWS certificate a plus. (experience, 2 years)
• Hands-on work experience in setting up AI-enabled tooling/system or integration of such components. (experience)
• Languages: Python, Unix shell scripts, Java Script (experience)
• Security framework: Public Key Cryptography, encryption, and Certificate (experience)
• Operating Systems: Linux/Unix (experience)
• Containerization & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes. (experience)
• CI/CD and Automation Tools: Jenkins, Terraform, and Helm. (experience)
• Cloud Platforms: AWS (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in these desired majors: CS, CE, ECE, EECS, IS, IT, MIS, MS&E, and other related fields of study. (degree in these desired majors)
• 4+ years of proven experience in Development/DevOps/Infrastructure/IT area. (experience, 4 years)

Responsibilities

• The DevOps Engineer will contribute to internal and external-facing AI driven innovations. This hire will sustain and enhance software applications for licensing and fulfillment and automate setup and verification. We’re looking for someone who is collaborative and thorough, who can build and automate software delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and stabilize all the environments to deploy to production when releases are ready.
• Build and automate software delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and integrate with unit and smoke tests.
• Set up various environments in public cloud using applicable services from Amazon and/or Google.
• Follow Apple Information Security requirements to engineer solutions in order to stay compliant in public cloud.
• Design and implement infrastructure and web application monitoring and respond to incidents.
• Work with Customer Support, QA, Development, Product Management and cross-functional teams to help with customer issues investigation and resolution.
• Work on-call shifts to respond to security and infrastructure incidents or customer issues to ensure there is no service interruption.
• Understand web-based security and help to design and implement solutions to prevent and catch attacks.
• Participate in DevOps project brainstorming, design, implementation, and test phases to deliver effective solutions.
• Participate and share progress through Scrum Ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Continue to learn innovative technologies to evolve solutions.
• Report status, conduct demos, share knowledge, and help team members with workload.
