The Apple Retail team is seeking an exceptional Digital Partnership Account Manager to craft and own the strategy for a critical platform partnership to drive transformative growth in China. In this role, you will leverage a deep understanding of retail trends, consumer insights, e-commerce platforms and the unique dynamics of China to develop and execute impactful strategies that accelerate growth and innovation for Apple Retail. We are looking for a strategic powerhouse with exceptional storytelling and communication abilities, strong commercial acumen, and outstanding relationship-building skills. The ideal candidate will bring significant experience in hardware sales and a proven track record of navigating the wireless carrier ecosystem to deliver measurable business results. The Digital Partnerships Account Manager will have commercial and team responsibility for the successful development and execution of our Flagship Store on a key marketplace. This role requires a highly motivated individual who can identify, develop and execute strategic plans for growth, oversee key projects, manage relationship with the partnership, and orchestrate cross-functional teams to achieve different what’s best for Apple.

Required Qualifications

  • A strong Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics or equivalent. MBA is a plus. (degree in business)
  • 7-10+ years e-commerce experience, focusing on commercial strategy, go-to-market planning, or retail business management. (experience, 10 years)
  • Proven ability to analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and business performance to develop actionable strategies. (experience)
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive cross-functional teams without direct authority. (experience)
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and executive presentation skills. (experience)
  • Self-starter, with strong motivation to find win-win solutions between Partners. (experience)
  • Strong marketplace subject matter expertise, including knowledge of China’s marketplace, digital commerce trends and best practice (experience)
  • Exceptional ability to problem solve, develop creative solutions, and demonstrate resourcefulness (experience)
  • Native Mandarin speaker with fluency in English. (experience)

  • The Digital Partnerships Account Manager will have commercial and team responsibility for the successful development and execution of our Flagship Store on a key marketplace.   • Strategic Planning & Business Development: Develop long-term strategic plans that align with the Retail’s goals and drive revenue growth and profitability. Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams. Conduct competitive analysis to refine the platform’s value proposition and market positioning.
  • Account & Stakeholder Management: Manage and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive success. Act as the main point of contact for Partner, ensuring business alignment and strengthening communications. Lead negotiations and oversee contract management to set strong foundation for long-term partnership.
  • Commercial Performance Management: Own and drive the platform’s commercial strategy to ensure revenue growth and profitability. Analyze key performance metrics to optimize sales, pricing, and customer engagement strategies. Identify areas for efficiency improvements and cost savings while maximizing commercial impact.
  • Project Oversight & Implementation: Oversee the execution of key commercial projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Work cross-functionally with product, marketing, and operations teams to deliver strategic initiatives. Monitor project progress, timelines, and outcomes, adjusting plans as needed for optimal results
  • Digital Growth & Performance Optimization: Leverage data and insights to enhance user acquisition, retention, and engagement strategies. Collaborate with marketing and merchandizing teams to optimize campaigns, SEO, and customer funnel conversions. Stay updated on emerging digital trends and technologies to drive innovation and competitiveness.
  • Reporting & Performance Analysis: Develop and present regular performance reports with insights and recommendations for improvement. Utilize data analytics tools to track business KPIs, customer behavior, and sales performance. Provide executive-level summaries and strategic recommendations based on market and performance data.
