Required Qualifications
- MSEE in an EMC or EM-related field (experience)
- 3+ years of experience with EM simulation software such as CST, ANSYS, EMCoS, and/or COMSOL. (experience, 3 years)
- Deep understanding of EM physics in the areas of EMC, EMI, and/or RFE. (experience)
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills (experience)
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills (experience)
- Must be highly motivated and must have excellent organizational skills (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- PhD in EMC or EM related field (degree in emc or em related field)
- 5+ years of experience with EM simulation software such as CST, ANSYS, EMCoS, and/or COMSOL. (experience, 5 years)
- Experience with integrating AI tools in simulation workflows. (experience)
- Ability to navigate through ambiguity and break down complex problems into simplified and manageable parts (experience)
- Knowledge of wireless power transfer systems and regulatory RF exposure standards (experience)
Responsibilities
- In this role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex EMC/ESD/EMI/RFE challenges. You’ll conduct EM simulations on various topics to aid in the development of cutting-edge consumer electronics products. - Simplify complex CAD geometries from various sources and make them ready for integration into complete systems.
- Import board files from various flexes and seamlessly integrate them into a comprehensive system assembly.
- Perform system-level and module-level EMC/ESD/EMI/RFE simulations.
- Perform complex hybrid EM/Circuit simulations by integrating s-parameters with circuit models.
- Review and analyze electrical and mechanical designs, as well as designing and conducting experiments to validate simulation models.
- Apply AI and ML techniques to simulation workflows to facilitate early design explorations.
