We are the Apple Field Design Engineering team, and we are seeking a highly motivated and technical individual to work on evaluation all Apple wireless products, including latest iPhone, iPad,Watch, Vision Pro etc. We are a team of multifaceted, encouraging people and innovative technologies are the norm here. We are looking for highly motivated and passionate engineer to work on evaluating wireless technologies into Apple’s products. You will be responsible for validating the performance and functional aspects of Wireless on Apple products from a user experience perspective throughout their development lifecycle, from early prototypes to post-release phases. Your role will also involve ensuring that Wireless on Apple products remains at the forefront of technological advancements. You'll conduct in-depth analysis and proposing improvements to innovative technologies developed at Apple through focused experiments and real-world engineering analysis to improve overall end-user wireless experiences. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: - Developing and running wireless test plans with a primary focus on user experience to ensure seamless connectivity and optimal performance. - Performing failure analysis to identify hardware or software issues through laboratory and field experiments. - Conducting in-depth analysis of hardware, software, and system issues, including protocol stack analysis (PHY, MAC, Network, and Application layers). - Generating comprehensive system performance test reports that include key performance indicators, highlighting critical issues, and providing a concise, data-driven summary for senior management review. - Applying your data-driven expertise and deep engineering knowledge to influence program decisions. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Wireless Communication or Electronics Engineering. (degree in wireless communication or electronics engineering)
- Solid Wireless Technology and communication education background. (experience)
- Hands-on experience with end-to-end testing of wireless technology that includes test plan preparation, field testing , log analysis and debugging issues. (experience)
- Comfortable of working in the field/test van. (experience)
- Availability to travel for work up to 50% of the year without restrictions. (experience)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written (In both Chinese and English). (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master or PhD degree in Wireless Communication or Electronics Engineering. (degree in phd degree in wireless communication or electronics engineering)
- 5+ years of Mobile phone or network optimization/planning related working experiences. (experience, 5 years)
- Strong programming experiences and expertise in Matlab/Python. (experience)
- AIML is a huge plus. (experience)
Responsibilities
