In this position, you will join a team of computer vision and machine learning researchers and engineers to discover and build solutions to previously-unsolved challenges and push the state of the art. We are looking for a driven and dedicated computer vision/machine learning engineer or researcher, optimally with experience in 3D computer vision algorithms, such as object detection, pose estimation, generative models, or tracking. As a member of a fast-paced team, you have the unique and rewarding opportunity to shape upcoming products that will delight and inspire millions of people every day. You’ll be working in a team of computer vision and machine learning researchers and engineers to implement world class algorithms that pushes the state of the art. Your job responsibilities will include: - Inventing and implementing state of the art computer vision algorithms to solve cutting edge problems - Designing such algorithms to work reliably and efficiently on mobile devices - Collaborating with other teams in software and hardware to ensure the full pipeline runs efficiently and utilizes Apple hardware effectively - Cooperating with your team members to prepare presentations, papers, and talks to explain your inventions

Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Computer Vision or Machine Learning - or - M.Sc. in related field with 4 years of experience (experience, 4 years)
- Strong experience in machine learning, preferably in 3D computer vision (experience)
- Solid foundation in 3D geometry and linear algebra (experience)
- Solid experience in deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in generative ML is a big plus (experience)
- Good experience in Python and science libraries like Numpy, Pandas, Matplotlib (experience)
- Experience in C++ is a plus (experience)
- Experience in 3D graphics and rendering is a big plus (experience)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills (experience)
- Excellent problem solving and analytical thinking skills (experience)
- Track record of successfully building and shipping products or open source projects (experience)
- Creativity and curiosity for solving highly complex problems (experience)
