Acting as a key interface among with engineering team, operation team, strategic suppliers and contract manufacturers, GSM is responsible for managing strategic and tactical initiatives of company supply chain. This role will focus on a specific commodity packaging and will play a meaningful role in the overall success of the Apple Manufacturing Design and Operation. You will lead all aspects of the supply management from identification, development, and management of existing and developing Apple packaging suppliers (Box, Molded Fiber, Printing, Carrying Case, etc).

Required Qualifications
- BS degree. (degree)
- Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience in supply chain management and cost management background. (experience, 5 years)
- Proficiency in English & Mandarin. (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge in any of below domains: Paper Material, Printing, Molded Fiber, Carrying Case as well as the manufacturing process, pack-out etc. (experience)
- MBA degree with excellent communication, interaction and presentation skills. (degree)
- Demonstrated ability to drive and deliver strategic business initiatives. (experience)
- Outstanding analytical capabilities with focuses a decision down to critical insights, even when it means giving up other options, expresses confidence that their decisions are rooted in clear thinking. (experience)
- Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives. (experience)
- Solid understanding of costing concepts, cost reduction, modeling, etc. (experience)

Responsibilities
- Acting as a key interface among with engineering team, operation team, strategic suppliers and contract manufacturers, GSM is responsible for managing strategic and tactical initiatives of company supply chain. This role will focus on a specific commodity packaging and will play a meaningful role in the overall success of the Apple Manufacturing Design and Operation.
- You will lead all aspects of the supply management from identification, development, and management of existing and developing Apple packaging suppliers (Box, Molded Fiber, Printing, Carrying Case, etc).
- Cost: development, negotiation and execution of a part and assembly cost strategy. An understanding of packaging component manufacturing techniques is important to better evaluate supplier capabilities and cost opportunities for Apple.
- On time delivery: schedule, capacity and supply planning to meet Apple’s production demand.
- Build support: engage into new product introduction & readiness review for factory ramp, capacity plan, equipment readiness, labor readiness.
- Program management: take lead to communicate schedule and issues with multi-functional teams OPM/EPM/PQM timely to avoid supply impact and pull in materials by needs.
- Risk mitigation: evaluation of technical and business risks using data based analysis and developing sound risk mitigation alternatives.
