The small form factor of these products enables us to innovate in every aspect of product development that includes areas like advanced physical architectures, new RF technologies and highly power-optimized IC development. We are a diverse team of electrical engineers with a passion for audio, music and product development. Seeking a motivated and talented hardware (HW) engineer intern who have passion on HW and will be responsible for owning aspects of system HW development from HW design to build in the factory. This internship offers opportunities in crafting electrical designs, developing HW validation tools, prototype bringup and testing, data analysis and issue debug while receiving mentorship from experienced engineers.

Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field (degree in master)
- Solid electrical engineering fundamentals (analog/digital circuits, signal processing, communication techniques etc.) (experience)
- Hands-on experience in HW prototyping, bring-up, debug and validation with proficiency in using electrical equipments including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers etc. (experience)
- At least 4 months internship commitment (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with embedded systems programming (C, C++) and hardware programming (CPLD, FPGA etc.) (experience)
- Scripting skills (Python/Unix shell/Lua) and experience in software from automation to machine learning (experience)
- Adequate technical writing and presentation capabilities and communication skills (experience)
- Eagerness and nimbleness to learn with board interest in engineering topics (experience)
- Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work in a team (experience)
- 6 months internship commitment is preferred (experience)
Responsibilities
- Seeking a motivated and talented hardware (HW) engineer intern who have passion on HW and will be responsible for owning aspects of system HW development from HW design to build in the factory. - Work with Apple engineers and manufacturing factory's engineering team on electrical tool development, failure analysis, HW testing and validation and other HW-related cross-team support
- Travel to factories in other cities may be needed
- The successful candidate will be involved in various aspects of HW development related to consumer electronics, gaining invaluable industry experience
