In this role, you will collaborate closely with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and integrate cutting-edge hardware systems for future Apple products. You will own critical aspects of the electrical architecture and implementation, ranging from schematic design and layout to bring-up, debug, and validation. Required Qualifications
- BS in electrical engineering or computer engineering (experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience shepherding system designs from concept to mass production, proactively anticipating and addressing potential roadblocks (experience, 3 years)
- Expertise in hardware design for embedded applications from SOC/MCU integration, power architecture (DC-DC, battery), and sensor definition / integration (experience)
- Understanding of compute architecture and peripheral IO functions (PCIe, USB, I2C, SPI, UART, SWD) (experience)
- Working knowledge of PCB/flex layout for optimizing for high speed SI and PDN (experience)
- Demonstrated ability to effectively bring-up, debug, and validate mixed-signal designs (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of imaging systems and image processing for ML applications (experience)
- Expertise in emerging sensing technologies and sensor design highly preferred. (experience)
- Ability to take a methodical and insightful approach to data analysis (experience)
- Passion for continuous learning and exploring new technologies is highly valued. (experience)
