As a Software Engineer, you will be developing apps and frameworks on iOS platforms to build ground breaking user experience and UI. In this role, you will design and implement new software experiences in close partnership with SW, HW and other disciplines across Apple such as Design, Product Marketing, Privacy, Security, Machine Learning, HomePod and AppleTV. Your passion for technology, privacy, and user experiences will be key to success. This job will drive new features for HomeKit Camera experiences. A proactive attitude to solving problems and ability to closely collaborate with others will be essential in handling responsibilities including: - Design, architect and implement new apps and frameworks, in Swift/Objective-C. - Understand product requirements, engage with team members and customers to define solutions, and estimate the scope of work required. - Write comprehensive unit tests, build test and verification pipelines to ensure reliability and resiliency, and work closely with software integration teams for the software you deliver. - Participate in architecture and code reviews, and hiring interviews.

Required Qualifications
- Proficient in Swift and/or Objective-C and common Apple frameworks and technologies. (experience)
- Hands-on experience shipping high quality software with responsive, interactive UI. (experience)
- Experience creating powerful and concise APIs and broad knowledge of layered software architecture. (experience)
- Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, object-oriented programming, and design with keen eye to best practices and design patterns. (experience)
- BS in Computer Science, related fields, or relevant professional experience. (experience)

- Effective communicator and collaborator with all levels of engineers and multi-functional teams (experience)
- Manages ambiguity and complexity in a dynamic environment (experience)
- Proactive with a strategic approach and a focus to simplify hard problems (experience)
- Deep understanding of memory management, multi-threaded programming, and synchronization (experience)
- Experience with performance – profiling, identifying, and implementing optimization strategies (experience)
