The Health Personalization team builds outstanding technologies to support AI-driven health experiences that provide our users with understandable, actionable information about their health and wellbeing, and support them to achieve their health and wellness goals. As part of the larger Sensor Software & Prototyping team, we take a multimodal approach using a variety of sensors and user data signals across hardware platforms, such as camera, wearables, and natural language user input. We are looking to hire an iOS Software Engineer in Generative AI for Health with deep software engineering expertise and a proven record shipping machine learning features. This position requires a self-motivated engineer with strong technical and interpersonal skills. Required Qualifications
- MS or PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Science or similar field (experience)
- 5+ years of iOS development experience including deep knowledge of Swift and experience with iOS frameworks like Swift Data, Core ML, and Foundation Models (experience, 5 years)
- Hands-on experience developing AI / machine learning-based products, and integrating AI/ML models within complex software systems (experience)
- Experience developing prototypes and demos to support feature definition and ideation, early data collections, and algorithm design (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Curiosity about new technologies, a flexible mindset, and interest in contributing to product definition (experience)
- Experience or strong interest in building consumer digital health and wellness products (experience)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and experience collaborating with AI / ML Scientists and Engineers (experience)
- Experience with privacy-preserving technologies is a plus (experience)
- Knowledge of AI / ML fundamentals, large language models, or hands-on experience with training and evaluation is a plus (experience)
