We are looking for a Hardware Validation and Automation Engineer in iPhone system EE team, who will be a leader for the planning, executing and tracking of electrical validation from first prototype through launch. One key part is validation automation development and deployment. Using deep technical knowledge and sharp interpersonal skills, you will operate seamlessly with System EE team in US and lead the CM (Contract Manufacturing) EE team to deliver the highest quality products. You are expected to hands on with lab equipment like oscilloscopes, probes, power analyzer and spectrum analyzer, have a good understanding of a series of low speed and high speed buses, passionate about planning, and able to expertly drive a list of critical tasks to closure with multiple engineering teams. In this role, you will have the opportunity to identify, call out, and mitigate project risks, all while keeping the critical path to complete each validation cycle top of mind. - Join NPI (New Product Introduction) build support team on the ground to validate product functionality and performance - Lead a CM HW validation team on the ground and review their deliveries on daily basis - Communicate validation progress/status to US VPM (Validation Program Manager) and Hardware Leads, prioritize project tasks, identify and mitigate technical risks - Establish relationships with multi-functional development teams in the US and China in order to integrate their feedback into the daily validation tasks - Improve validation process and tools - Develop and deploy validation automation

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor or master degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering or related majors (degree in or master degree in electrical engineering)
- Good EE fundamentals including DC-DC Power and Signal Integrity (experience)
- Be very familiar with oscilloscopes and probes, understand the best practices in test setup, signal measurement and the reason behind (experience)
- Experience in script coding for test/validation automation or others (experience)
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Good programming capability is a big plus, in language Python, C, LUA, MATLAB, etc (experience)
- Strong electrical engineering fundamentals, preferably with experience working on computer, mobile phone or other embedded systems (experience)
- Experience in HW system Integration, such as working on Schematic design, PCB design, System Validation (experience)
- Quick learning capability in a fast-paced environment (experience)
- Real passion for shipping high volume and high-quality products (experience)
- Ability to thrive in collaborative, multi-functional environments, with a proven capability to respond in a timely and effective manner (experience)
