Job Description
The CoreOS software team is looking for an exceptionally dedicated software engineering manager to lead kernel development for Apple products. This team is responsible for the development of new kernel features on all products, as well as evolving our software for new Apple Silicon platforms to contribute to the success of the iPhone, iPad, and Mac product lines among others. CoreOS works with many teams across the company to provide a stable, fast, and high-quality foundation on which iOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS, and visionOS frameworks and applications can be developed. Leadership and management of a team of dedicated kernel engineers in a fast-paced and demanding development environment. Ownership of the kernel and other low-level software components. Creating and promoting a development environment that encourages innovation and sets high standards for quality and productivity. Identifying and mitigating risks in development activities. Strengthening the team by hiring and retaining diverse, top engineering talent.
