We’re seeking a hands-on leader for the Core Services Quality Engineering organization. Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years leading QA/Quality Engineering teams in software (experience, 5 years)
  • B.S. Computer Science or similar field, M.S. preferred (experience)
  • Deep knowledge of QA automation architecture, methodologies, processes, and tools (experience)
  • High value for teamwork and cross-functional alignment; comfortable influencing without authority (experience)
  • Proven stakeholder management (experience)
  • Ability to drive clarity amid ambiguity and make sound tradeoffs (experience)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication; able to convey complex concepts concisely and tailor messages to different audiences (experience)
  • Experience leading distributed teams across cultures, geographies, and time zones (experience)

  • Experience planning and leading end-to-end software release cycles (experience)
  • Proven leadership of major, cross-functional software initiatives (experience)
  • Ability to quickly grasp new technical domains and system architectures (experience)
  • Track record of providing succinct, accurate executive summaries of complex project status (experience)
  • Strong technical acumen across backend/services, automation, and CI/CD (experience)
  • Experience driving measurable quality outcomes in a quality-focused organization (experience)

Responsibilities

  • We’re seeking a hands-on leader for the Core Services Quality Engineering organization. You bring a deep understanding of backend systems, a builder’s mindset for automation and tooling, and a strong background in software development and quality. You have a track record of developing people, processes, and teams, and you thrive in collaborative, cross-functional environments.
  • Lead and grow a high-performing Quality Engineering team for Core Services
  • Define and drive quality strategy, test plans, and the automation roadmap across services
  • Partner closely with engineering, product, and program teams to align on scope, risks, and release criteria
  • Drive efficiency and coverage in functional, integration, performance, and reliability testing
  • Establish quality metrics, dashboards, and reporting; deliver clear, concise updates to leadership
  • Ensure build qualifications, release readiness, and project milestones are met
  • Champion engineering excellence, tooling, and CI/CD best practices across teams
  • Foster an inclusive, collaborative culture across geographies and time zones
