Required Qualifications

• 8+ years Enterprise-level project or product management experience at labels, distributors and/or label/artist services companies (experience, 8 years)
• Specialist knowledge of DSP delivery requirements, including Apple Music, Spotify and Youtube. (experience)
• Specialist knowledge of Apple Music XML and DDEX specifications. (experience)
• Experience documenting process flows, workflows and systems. (experience)
• Analytical, with demonstrable critical thinking, and an ability to cut through noise to find fast, workable solutions. (experience)
• Proven experience applying new technologies to improve processes and experiences. (experience)
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills. (experience)
• Bachelors Degree or equivalent. (degree in equivalent)

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven ability to build trust and alignment across diverse stakeholder groups and partner organizations. (experience)
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles. (experience)
• Strategic, long-term thinker able to form a vision around Platoon’s distribution needs. (experience)
• Demonstrable success coding and deploying tools using languages such as python and javascript. (experience)

Responsibilities

• We are seeking a tenured and flexible Product/Project Manager to drive a series of enhancements to our content operation. The role will require plenty of forward-thinking, but also someone hands-on enough to get things done.
• This role is a unique opportunity to help Platoon’s efforts in a fast-evolving, critical area. It will also introduce you to a range of interesting people. … For this reason you will need the ability to connect and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders alike...and to stay aligned on a long term plan for Platoon’s content operation.
• Projects will include, but are not limited to; enterprise-level system enhancements, new content workflows, and the scaling of artist support processes. Where possible, this role will utilize Apple-approved new technologies to deliver exceptional quality at scale.
• Success will require an entrepreneurial mindset to deliver value when opportunities arise, and project management rigor to establish a roadmap for a scaled and stable operation.
• Work with Business, Product, Operations, Legal and Finance stakeholders to articulate current and future needs for Platoon artists, as they relate to content operations and supply chain.
• Scope, gather requirements and identify risks/impacts.
• Work with Operations and Product teams to hone and prioritize BRDs and OKRs.
• Ensure effective communication between Platoon, and technical 3rd parties.
• Oversee project tracking, milestones and actions required to maintain momentum on key projects.
• Manage check-ins with internal stakeholders and technical 3rd parties
• Articulate objectives and requirements so all parties are clear regarding the goals and plan.
• Ensure features meet business expectations before going live.
• Oversee UAT completion and feedback.
• Deliver perfect rollouts, including team trainings, documentation and artist communication(s).
• Provide executive updates to Operations and Platoon leadership.
