The WW BPR PLM team serves as a support entity for the business process, product data management, and PLM system and integration across Operations for all of Apple’s Line of Businesses (LOBs). The team collaborates across multiple business stakeholders to develop, maintain and execute a Next Generation PLM roadmap with high benefit to Apple overall. This position requires global coordination of efforts across all regions. The team’s key responsibilities include: - Managing complex large scale projects involving several corporate and regional resources across 3 continents. - Aligning World Wide and Regional teams to our Next Generation PLM program. The Worldwide Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) team is seeking an experienced supply chain professional to lead Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) focused initiatives. This position will be managing and driving large scale global cross functional initiatives to enable new PLM & Supply chain capabilities, drive process optimization, increase scale & efficiency, and minimize cost. You will work to identify and resolve key issues in a dynamic and ambiguous environment, facing exciting challenges daily. This position would also play a critical role in the global rollout of Apple’s next generation Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and integrated Supply Chain. Prior hands-on PLM and manufacturing/supply chain in the electronics industry within with a leading global consumer electronics company is required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, or related field (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.) (degree in industrial engineering)
  • 12+ years of experience leading global supply chain initiatives improving processes in the electronics industry - design, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, fulfillment, after-sale service (experience, 12 years)
  • Deep PLM and Operations / Supply Chain process experience and be self-directed, motivated, and comfortable working in an extremely fast-paced environment (experience)
  • Technical proficiency in PLM enterprise software, integration technologies, and data platforms (experience)
  • Extensive experience in global supply chain management specific to New Product Introduction (NPI) at a global scale (experience)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of how PLM data is used across enterprise, manufacturing, and supply chain processes. Ability to identify uses cases where improved data will bring significant benefit to teams, mobilize POC’s, and scale rapid solutions. (experience)
  • Hands on experience working with PLM data across the enterprise translating how data enables business processes and recommend process efficiency improvements resulting from data processing improvements and realize the benefit (experience)
  • Strong analytical, project management and leadership skills to handle a variety of activities and complexities spanning the organization and be willing to work at both a very detailed and strategic level (experience)
  • The ability to facilitate global projects and to align business and technical teams (experience)
  • Exceptional communication skills, verbal, written and presentation to easily communicate complex technical concepts to executive leadership (experience)
  • Solid ability to personally deliver large scale global initiatives under pressure, with high levels of complexity and ambiguity (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master Degree in Industrial Engineering, or related field (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.) (degree in industrial engineering)
  • Ability to operate independently with conviction and drive teams to the right levels of quality in delivery even under pressure. (experience)
  • Handle ambiguity in problem definition, have a good handle on business value and have the initiative to craft problems and projects so that they deliver maximum impact. (experience)
