You will be part of a mechanical product design team responsible for conceiving, designing and producing exciting new products. While contributing to the mechanical design of Apple’s products, you will work closely with many cross-functional teams, including Industrial Design, Hardware Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Thermal, Safety, Packaging, Wireless, EMC, and Operations.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering (degree in mechanical engineering)
- Experience in product design. (experience)
- Experience developing parts and assemblies in 3-D CAD (experience)
- Knowledge of plastic and metal part design (experience)
- Knowledge of design cycle from concept to manufacturing (experience)
- Ability to travel internationally (up to 20%) (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters Degree in an Engineering discipline (degree in an engineering discipline)
- Experience in plastic and metal part design (experience)
- Experience with design cycle from concept to manufacturing (experience)
- High volume mass production experience (experience)
- Experience with FEA for mechanical parts (experience)
- Experience in the areas of: GD&T, Tolerance Analysis, Statistical Analysis, Design of Experiments (experience)
- Innovative thinking, high personal motivation, deep engineering capability (experience)
Responsibilities
- While contributing to the mechanical design of Apple’s products, you will work closely with many cross-functional teams, including Industrial Design, Hardware Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Thermal, Safety, Packaging, Wireless, EMC, and Operations.
