Join Apple’s ASO Operations team as a Systems Workflow Architect, where you will drive transformative changes to the infrastructure powering the Apple Online Store. You will ensure seamless integration, high performance, and scalability in digital content production, management, and distribution workflows. The ideal candidate is a strategic problem solver, thorough, and adept at managing complexity while balancing competing priorities. In a fast-paced environment, you'll navigate ambiguity, champion innovative, data-driven solutions, and give to the ongoing evolution of e-commerce excellence. In this role, you will tap into your expertise in process and systems design to help architect a scalable e-commerce platform, championing innovative technologies that challenge conventional approaches. Collaborating with ASO Ops Quality, Product Management and Engineering teams, you’ll define, develop, and implement new systemic capabilities and workflows for agile, efficient digital content production, management, and distribution. Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Computer Science or a technical degree, or 6+ years of relevant professional experience. (experience, 6 years)
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with a proven track record of effectively briefing executives and multi-functional partners, articulating technically sophisticated concepts clearly and concisely. (experience)
  • Technical expertise in digital content systems, including Content Management Systems (CMS), Digital Asset Management (DAM), Product Information Management (PIM), and Syndication Management Systems (SMS). (experience)
  • Experience using advanced analytics tools and libraries, including Python, Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib, to analyze structured, unstructured, and semi-structured data and generate actionable insights for business decisions. (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience applying problem solving frameworks (DMAIC, kaizen, etc.) and process improvement methodologies (six sigma, lean, TQM, etc.) to drive operational excellence. (experience)
  • Experience leveraging emerging technologies like AI, ML, and LLMs to automate and optimize digital content workflows and advance validation automation strategies. (experience)
  • Experience with SDLC methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, RAD) to facilitate effective collaboration with technical business partners. (experience)
  • Experience using test automation tools and frameworks for mobile and web, such as Selenium, Appium etc. (experience)

  • Extract actionable insights from complex data sets to drive design decisions and optimize workflows using data-driven approaches.
  • Communicate technical strategies and architectures to leadership and partners, ensuring alignment throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Mentor and coach key team members on automation protocols.
