Required Qualifications

• Fluent in Dutch, French, and English – both written and spoken. Trilingualism is essential to navigate Belgium’s institutional and linguistic complexity. (experience)
• Proven experience in consultative selling or strategic account management, within public sector and/or healthcare environments in Belgium. (experience)
• You bring a robust network across Belgian public institutions, both federal (e.g., FOD/SPF, INAMI/RIZIV, eHealth) and regional/local (e.g., Vlaamse Overheid, Service Public de Wallonie, Brussels Capital Region). (experience)
• Solid understanding of government and healthcare procurement processes, including public tendering and framework agreements. (experience)
• Familiarity with security, compliance, data privacy (e.g., GDPR, NIS2) and their implications for public service delivery. (experience)
• Demonstrated ability to achieve short-term targets while building long-term strategic value with public customers. (experience)
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. (experience)

• You are a compelling storyteller and presenter, able to translate complex technology into strategic impact for non-technical audiences such as senior civil servants, policy advisors, and healthcare executives. (experience)

• Ability to identify and engage key influencers across IT, policy, healthcare operations and procurement. (experience)

Responsibilities

• Experience in or knowledge of public healthcare ecosystems (hospitals, public health institutions, mutualités/ziekenfondsen, cross-border care platforms) is a plus.
• Comfortable operating within Belgium’s federal structure and regional competencies, with an ability to tailor engagement accordingly.
• Willingness to travel across Belgium to maintain close relationships with stakeholders in all three regions.
