Apple System RF team is looking for a Radio Frequency (RF) System Integration Engineer who will be responsible for developing and optimizing RF automation testing systems used on Apple’s products including iPhones, Macs, iPads, Apple Watch and more with different wireless technologies. You will become part of a hands-on development team that furthers engineering finesse, creativity, and innovation. Candidate will contribute to a multifaceted software suite based on C/C++. Candidate will develop algorithms and solutions to validate and characterize RF/Wireless system performance. Candidate will develop new features to improve the RF automation testing system. Candidate will build script for the RF test data analyzing and processing. Candidate will analyze results in conjunction with multi-functional teams to identify and root cause issues.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or Computing is required (experience)
- Strong fundamentals and proven experience in programming with one or more of the following: C, C++, or Objective-C. (experience)
- Good solid understanding of RF fundamentals. (experience)
- Good understanding and experience with testing of RF metrics for different technologies. (experience)
- Good knowledge of the current wireless RF standards (e.g. Cellular, WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, etc.) (experience)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Maser/Ph.D. degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or Computing is preferred (experience)
- Excellent understanding of Cellular Protocols for LTE/5G especially at the PHY layer is preferred. (experience)
- Proven understanding of Python, Perl or Ruby is a plus. (experience)
- Knowledge or exposure of calibration algorithms (e.g. Tx power, XO, RSSI, Envelope tracking, IQ mismatch, etc.) (experience)
- Knowledge of RF lab equipment including: spectrum analyzers, vector signal generators, power sensors, switch controllers, combiners, etc. is a plus. (experience)
- Good understanding and experience with testing of RF metrics for different technologies. (experience)
