As a Software Engineer, you will be developing apps, frameworks and daemons on iOS platforms to build cutting-edge user experience, services and UI. Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience shipping high quality software with responsive, interactive UI. (experience)
- Experience creating powerful and concise APIs and broad knowledge of layered software architecture. (experience)
- Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, object-oriented programming, and design with keen eye to best practices and design patterns. (experience)
- BS in Computer Science, related fields, or relevant professional experience. (experience)

- Effective communicator and collaborator with all levels of engineers and cross-functional teams (experience)
- Manages ambiguity and complexity in a dynamic environment (experience)
- Proactive with a strategic approach and a focus to simplify hard problems (experience)
- Deep understanding of memory management, multi-threaded programming, and synchronization (experience)
- Experience with performance – profiling, identifying, and implementing optimization strategies (experience)
Responsibilities
- In this role, you will design and implement new software in close partnership with SW, HW and other teams across Apple such as Design, Product Marketing, Privacy, Security, Cloud Services, HomePod and AppleTV. - Design, architect and implement new apps, frameworks and daemons, in Swift/Objective-C.
- Understand product requirements, engage with team members and customers to define solutions, and estimate the scope of work required.
- Implement features that involve communication with other related products and various cloud back-ends.
- Deliver solutions that can keep up with a rapidly evolving product.
- Write comprehensive unit tests, build test and verification pipelines to ensure reliability and resiliency, and work closely with software integration teams for the software you deliver.
- Participate in architecture and code reviews, and hiring interviews.
