The company has customers globally across SMBs and the Fortune 500. The Claris product management team is seeking a Senior Product Manager to drive Monetization across the Claris portfolio. You will shape licensing and pricing models, subscription flows, trials, entitlements and the underlying systems, ensuring a seamless and value-aligned customer journey. This is a high-impact individual contributor role—ideal for a product manager who thrives at the intersection of business strategy, data, and product experience. Product Managers in our organization sit at the intersection of software development, design, and business strategy. We shape high-level product goals but also get our hands dirty. On an average day, you might pitch a concept to senior leadership, create a launch plan with marketing, work with designers and researchers to conduct user interviews or concept tests, conceptualize a new feature, analyze usage data, and/or contribute to the overall company strategy. We have ultimate responsibility for understanding our client needs, influencing business strategy, prioritize product features, and collaborating with engineering to develop our products.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of product management experience, including 5+ years focused on monetization, growth, or pricing for SaaS or platform products. (experience, 8 years)
  • Proven track record of delivering measurable impact through pricing, packaging, or go-to-market optimizations. (experience)
  • Strong understanding of subscription business models, licensing systems, billing platforms, tiered pricing, volume licensing, or multi-product subscription models. (experience)
  • Experience collaborating with Finance, Sales, and Marketing on commercial initiatives and business modeling. (experience)
  • Extremely strong evidence of collaboration and being able to successful through influence without authority (experience)
  • Proficiency in data-driven decision making, including defining metrics, conducting cohort analysis, and using analytics tools. (experience)
  • Hands-on experience writing clear PRDs, user stories, and business requirements for cross-functional engineering teams. (experience)
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills—able to articulate complex trade-offs between user experience and business outcomes. (experience)
  • Proven ability to articulate thoughts and express ideas through written and/or verbal communication to internal stakeholders, partners, and customers. (experience)
  • Proven experience in leading design, feature breakdown and projects/products from inception to shipped software (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus. (degree in computer science)
  • Strong experience with shipping software incrementally following agile practices, with Scrum being preferred (experience)
  • Exposure to generative AI–driven experiences or workflow automation platforms, especially where monetization models evolve with usage or AI features. (experience)
  • MBA or equivalent business experience in pricing, strategy, or growth. (experience)
  • Passion for empowering developers, creators, and businesses to build custom digital solutions. (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Product Managers in our organization sit at the intersection of software development, design, and business strategy. We shape high-level product goals but also get our hands dirty. On an average day, you might pitch a concept to senior leadership, create a launch plan with marketing, work with designers and researchers to conduct user interviews or concept tests, conceptualize a new feature, analyze usage data, and/or contribute to the overall company strategy.
  • We have ultimate responsibility for understanding our client needs, influencing business strategy, prioritize product features, and collaborating with engineering to develop our products.
  • Through extremely deep collaboration and buy-in with other PMs, you will be accountable for defining and evolving the monetization strategy for Claris, inclusive of pricing, packaging, and purchase experiences that are deeply aligned with company goals and customer value.
  • Own the customer lifecycle from acquisition through expansion—optimizing trials, onboarding, conversion, renewals, and upsell experiences.
  • Create a best in class and consistent set of growth PM best practices that can be scaled to all PMs for their respective products.
  • Partner with other PMs and be accountable for building out dashboards for Claris customer acquisition and product activation funnels.
  • Design and deliver end-to-end commercial flows across the web, in-product, and partner channels through deep collaboration cross-functionally with Engineering, Marketing, Finance, and Sales.
  • Partner with design and engineering to launch self-service commerce capabilities, simplify and integrate licensing systems.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify and unify billing, entitlements, and platform access across the product portfolio.
  • Build business cases and forecast models to support new monetization initiatives or pricing changes.
