We’re looking for talented developers to join a small team of highly skilled engineers to realize that mission by expanding the capabilities of Apple platforms and products. This position requires a self-motivated engineer with strong technical skills who is an excellent collaborator to handle responsibilities including: Developing daemons and frameworks to both manage an AI powered system and enable communication between it's nodes Prototyping ideas to further determinism in process execution and output, including the faithful reproduction and analysis of end-user scenarios Developing software components that are adaptive to changes in overall system health Sharing concepts and objectives with cross functional teams, collecting and anticipating project needs Participating in architecture and code reviews Leading and mentoring other engineers

Required Qualifications
- Extensive iOS experience (experience)
- Proficient in Swift, C++ or ObjC (experience)
- Attention to detail, creativity and passion (experience)
- Ability to deconstruct large features and implement practical solutions with good intuition in making time vs. complexity tradeoffs (experience)
- Track record of working cross-functionally to build strong partnerships amongst teams and individuals (experience)
- Strong grasp of Apple development tools (experience)
- Strong object-oriented programming and design skills (experience)
- Proven software architecture experience (experience)
- Well versed in OS fundamentals such as memory management, scheduling, synchronization, syscalls, IPC, etc. (experience)
- BS Computer Science or related technical field and a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience (experience, 3 years)
Preferred Qualifications
- Solid understanding of the development and debugging of multi-threaded software and networking (experience)
- System and network troubleshooting, profiling and debugging skills (experience)
- Experience building efficient systems software (experience)
- Experience in developing and maintaining APIs and frameworks for multiple clients (experience)
- Experience working within large scale codebases (experience)
- Experience debugging and troubleshooting device hardware/software failures (experience)
