Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Software Engineering, or a related field. (experience, 3 years)
- Proficiency in scripting and programming (Python, Bash, Go, Java, or similar). (experience)
- Hands on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, etc.). (experience)
- Hands on experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Splunk, AppDynamics, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana). (experience)
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (equivalent practical experience). (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficient in Linux, Networking concepts (TLS/SSL, DNS, Load Balancers, etc..) and troubleshooting skills in large scale environments. (experience)
- Hands on Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). (experience)
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Teamcenter environments using tools such as Deployment Center, Jenkins, or similar. (experience)
- Experience performing Teamcenter software upgrades, patching, or major version transitions. (experience)
- Hands on experience in one or more databases (Relational / NoSQL like Oracle, MongoDB) (experience)
- Exposure to event-driven architectures and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ). (experience)
- Experience with security and authentication (OAuth, SAML, SSO). (experience)
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent years of work experience (experience)
Responsibilities
- As an SRE, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of Apple's FMD (Full Material Disclosure) Platform while driving automation and DevOps best practices.
- Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of application platforms, APIs, and integrations.
- Collaborate with developers to design resilient architectures and streamline CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate builds, deployments, configuration management, and release processes.
- Implement observability practices: transaction tracing, logging, metrics, and alerting.
- Partner with QA/SDET teams to integrate testing into CI/CD workflows.
- Troubleshoot application incidents (transaction errors, API failures, caching, authentication, schema changes).
- Promote DevOps culture to improve release velocity and reduce failures.
