Salary
Required Qualifications
- At least 5+ years hands-on experience as a systems, storage or cloud engineer (experience, 5 years)
- Knowledge of Linux (OEL, RHEL, CentOS) utilities and programs (experience)
- Expertise in version control systems (Git, SVN), automated build and testing (Jenkins, Vagrant) (experience)
- Expertise in K8 platform, on-premise or Cloud (experience)
- Experience with at least one cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) (experience)
- Understanding storage platforms (NetApp, Isilon, Object Storage, etc.) (experience)
- Experience with configuration management (e.g., Puppet, Ansible) is mandatory. (experience)
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade x86-based hardware platforms (experience)
- Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (VMWARE, KVM, containers) (experience)
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills are a must. (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Automate workflows with Python, Ruby, or Go. (experience)
- Expert in IPv6, DNS, and DHCP (experience)
- Expert knowledge in operating systems, networking stacks, TCP/IP, Linux bridges, and network interface drivers is highly desired. (experience)
- Understanding systems, app security, and encryption. (experience)
- Ability to quickly learn new and existing technologies (experience)
Responsibilities

- As an SRE, your primary responsibilities include ensuring system reliability and availability. This involves monitoring performance, participating in on-call rotations, and designing highly available systems. You also automate and manage infrastructure, implementing Infrastructure as Code and administering databases. Additionally, you build and maintain monitoring systems for alerting and metrics. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, documenting systems, and planning for capacity and scalability are crucial.
