AMT’s Audio team provides the audio foundation for various high profile features like Game Audio, Siri, FaceTime, media capture, playback and API’s for third party developers to enrich our platforms. The team is looking for talented engineers who are passionate about building audio features and products for millions of customers and care about overall user experience. You will revolutionize the audio experience for game and future audio technologies. We are looking for a highly motivated audio enthusiastic and experienced engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance audio APIs using Swift for all of Apple’s platforms. This role combines deep audio engineering expertise with modern Swift development practices to create robust, efficient, well-architected and developer-focused audio solutions. This work involves close collaboration within Audio and with other teams like Media and Swift teams at Apple.

- Design and implement developer-focused Swift-based APIs for audio frameworks.
- Collaborate cross-functionally and drive the modernization of audio APIs to adhere to Swift features and guidelines.
- Design, develop and enhance the underlying audio frameworks and technologies.
- Engage in API reviews, write comprehensive documentation and sample code.
- Contribute to enhancing testing, code quality and code coverage.
