Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of relevant experience with at least 8 years' experience managing stakeholders and large complex testing programs (experience, 15 years)
- Experience in SAP Testing with good understanding of Supply Chain Processes (experience)
- Experience in testing/test management of S/4 Hana Implementations. (experience)
- Experience in product quality and uncovering hard to find scenarios and bugs. (experience)
- Background in setting up and leading QA teams. (experience)
- Experience in QA for highly scalable, distributed and high performance platforms. (experience)
- Experience in functional & performance testing. (experience)
- Excellent knowledge of QA automation methodologies, processes, and tools. (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering from a premier school (degree in bachelor)
- Minimum 12-15 years of Work experience in a similar role preferred (experience, 15 years)
- Experience in developing test plans, test cases and performing testing (experience)
- Familiar with technologies like Worksoft, Tosca, Java, SQL, Scala, Databases, NoSQL, Web Services (Rest & soap). (experience)
- Familiar with using tools to measure system and performance metrics. (experience)
- Extremely detail oriented, committed to the highest quality of work you're doing (experience)
- Experience in presenting executive level briefs for business reviews, forecast delivery schedules and risk mitigations (experience)
- Ability to communicate effectively with peers, senior leadership and globally dispersed partners (experience)
- Deep Inquisitive mind and ability to bring in change. (experience)
Responsibilities
- The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and a technologist—someone who can disrupt the status quo, introduce modern testing approaches, and foster collaboration within the team.
- Technology Leadership: Evaluate, introduce, and implement modern testing tools, frameworks, and best practices (AI/ML in testing, cloud-based testing, continuous testing).
- Automation Strategy: Define and execute a robust test automation strategy across functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
- Innovation Mindset: Bring a disruptive thought process to problem-solving while ensuring team alignment and adoption.Ability to consider alternative viewpoints and adapt approach when required.
- Team Development: Mentor and upskill the testing team in cutting-edge technologies and methodologies.
- Collaboration: Communication and co-ordination with international teams. Partner with development, product, and DevOps teams to embed quality early in the lifecycle (Shift-Left Testing).
- Quality Metrics: Define measurable KPIs for quality, test effectiveness, automation coverage, and continuous improvement.
- Scalability: Build testing processes and platforms that can scale with product growth and evolving technology needs.
- Delivery : Work closely with internal organizations, project teams and clients to develop project schedules, execute test plans and cases, and deliver high quality products
- Enhance Quality Assurance processes, environments, tools and frameworks
