This individual, working in Shanghai and reporting to the Corporate Accounting team in Cupertino, will partner closely with our creative and groundbreaking finance and business teams to ensure they are provided with top-notch accounting guidance to drive the business forward. You will have the opportunity to advise on a broad range of business issues and continually improve our operational and financial processes. The position involves significant interaction with senior financial and business management.

Required Qualifications
- 7 years of progressive experience, including people management experience (experience, 7 years)
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent (degree in accounting)
- CPA or equivalent (experience)
- Experience with U.S. GAAP technical research and analysis for a broad range of accounting topics, including revenue, inventory, fixed assets, consolidation, and contingencies (experience)
- Given the location of this position, the ideal candidate must be able to work independently with limited day-to-day supervision or direction (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- 9-10+ years of progressive experience from public accounting and/or large public companies, preferably focused on the technology industry (experience, 10 years)
- IFRS experience (experience)
- Ability to perform technical research on complex matters and effectively communicate accounting issues to business partners, ensuring that relevant accounting issues are identified, debated, and resolved (experience)
- Excellent documentation skills—clear, concise, detailed, and accurate (experience)
- Strong ability to explain technical concepts and articulate your expert opinion at all levels within Apple (experience)
- Strong ability to build relationships and work directly with senior executives (experience)
Responsibilities

- Participate in close-related accounting reviews and analyses.
