Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering or Technology (degree in science)
• Capable of failure analysis and problem solving with engineering methodology (experience)
• Proficient in Local Language and English, spoken and written (experience)
• Flexible for travel, including domestic and international travel (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

• Understand mechanical drawing, GD&T, and ERS (engineering requirement specification) and familiar with precision manufacturing, automation and assembly process (experience)
• Hands-on in the factory processes, with frequent time spent on the factory floor (experience)
• Project Management experience and skills (experience)
• Excellent problem solver, using structured problem solving methodology to assign root cause, plus develop and implement corrective and preventative actions (experience)
• Dedication and passion in commercial electronics industry, and in relevant job function, e.g. quality engineer, process engineer, PD etc. (experience)
• Good in statistical analysis, experienced use of JMP or mini tab (experience)
• Keen on new technology such as Python, Machine Learning, AI and etc. (experience)
• Solid presentation skills, and excellent communicator who can translate high-level goals into tangible action plans and able to build formal networks involving coordination among groups (experience)

Responsibilities

• - Set up and qualify quality infrastructures at supplier factory
• - Measurement system, include but not limited to dimensional, functional measurement, as well as visual inspections
• - Review quality performance and drive improvement
• - Collaborate with multi-functional teams (engineering/process development/PM/procurement etc) to resolve quality issues and improve quality
• - Ensure up/down stream supply OQC/IQC are in sync for quality standards and measurements are correlated each other
• - Drive lessons learned into designs and use predictive methods to anticipate and avoid quality issue early in development cycle.
• - Dedicatedly provide leadership and drive yield & operational excellence expectations with CMs through direct interaction, continuous communication, and continuous improvement efforts.
• - Resolve outstanding equipment efficiencies, UPH, MMR, and material usage, and drive + implement across vendors
• - Drive continuous yield improvement activities with CMs.
• - Track CM performance through objective measurement systems as well as audits and on line verification. Implement communication plan, providing summary and corrective action plans through life cycle of products.
• - Call out key concerns and options for resolutions to senior management.
