Required Qualifications

• MS/PhD in Image Science, Color Science, CS/CE/EE, or equivalent experience (experience)
• Experience of subjective/objective image quality evaluation (experience)
• Experience of ISP pipeline and 3A evaluation (experience)
• Focus on details and possess strong problem solving and analytical skills (experience)
• Ability to stay on top of camera benchmark eval and testing result (experience)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate and work cross functionally (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience and proficiency in coding language such as Python, C/C++ (experience)
• Strong video photography skills and have an excellent sense of cinematography (experience)

Responsibilities

• You will conduct lab and real world video quality testing using iPhone and iPad, and benchmark with other competitor devices. In this role, you'll be a critical part of a fast-paced, collaborative team and who thrive in a high energy, time-constrained, multitasking environment to significantly impact our video quality.
• Ability to set up imaging lab and run objective IQ metrics
• Real world camera video quality verification
• Ability to find IQ issues, do initial analysis and triaging
• Participate in IQ evaluation for new features and algorithms, provide feedback to engineer teams
• Analyze, reproduce, isolate video quality issues from both lab and real world testing environment
