Required Qualifications

• You have a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience required. (experience)
• You have 3+ years of experience in 802.11 protocols and/or Bluetooth. (experience, 3 years)
• You have 3+ years of experience in SQA methodologies and practices. (experience, 3 years)
• You're experienced in developing test strategies and performing it with automation or manual testing. (experience)
• You're experienced in utilizing tools, including Wireless and Bluetooth packet sniffers and network protocol analyzers, to help resolve, root cause and provide debugging information to engineering teams. (experience)
• You thrive in a collaborative environment and comfortable working with multi-functional teams. (experience)
• You're laser-focused on the smallest details that are important to our customers. (experience)
• You have the ability to write automation and automate existing test cases to improve efficiency. (experience)
• You're proficient in Python and/or C/C++. (experience)

Responsibilities

• You will join a dynamic quality assurance team, responsible for functional and performance validation of Wi-Fi (and other Wireless technologies) features on macOS, iOS & other exciting products. You will be delivering a detailed connectivity user experience to our customers. Job responsibilities include crafting of test strategies using various test methodologies, building test setups, automating test framework and test plans to ensure the best quality in Wi-Fi connectivity for an exciting product line.
• Develop and execute software tests to identify and address software problems, ensuring quality and validity of design.
• Define and execute test plans to validate various Wi-Fi features of Apple products, ensuring they meet design and functionality requirements.
• Raise defects and follow up with the development team to identify the root cause using Apple internal tools.
• Investigate field issues, and perform engineering analysis to understand the root cause of the problems.
• Identify gaps in test plans based on field issues seen and address the test gaps.
• Automate test cases in internal Automation Frameworks.
• Build, configure, and maintain test infrastructure to efficiently execute test plans across various software releases.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to validate software and firmware patches and fixes.
